Cyber Risk and Remediation - Technical Delivery Manager (TDM)

Job Description:

The Technical Delivery Manager (TDM) is accountable for the delivery of cross functional Information Security focused remediation initiatives for T-Mobile USA. This position aligns to the Digital Security Organization (DSO), Risk Remediation Office. The Technical Delivery Manager is responsible for leadership, management and quality delivery of cyber remediation effort. The TDM works effectively with multiple stakeholders and applies customer relationship management practices, including the identification of appropriate, mutually agreed upon objectives. The TDM must also be able to lead technical personnel (Security Engineers, Systems Analysts, Developers, Testers), provide input to functional design and architecture, track and resolve technical issues during remediation phases. This position requires competency in information security concepts as well as standard project management methodologies.


  • Facilitates teams in fast paced environment to manage remediation requirements and scope, coordinates between cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to security requirements and architectural direction
  • Partners with Project Managers and technology stakeholders inside and outside of the information security organization to coordinate work efforts and reporting between analysis, development, architecture, operations, release management, and quality assurance teams
  • Creates and maintains key artifacts to support remediation reporting and traceability requirements including milestones, target dates, & status reporting
  • Serves as DSO's first point of escalation to leadership to resolve remediation issues and blockers
  • Contributes to the development and continuous improvement of Risk Remediation Office processes and procedures required to align with partnering teams during investigation and mitigation of moderate or severe security incidents


  • Experience driving Information Security/Digital Security focused technical and remediation efforts
  • Experience with standard project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile SCRUM)
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead by influence up, down, and across an organization
  • 7+ years of direct project management experience required, information security technical and remediation experience preferred
  • Experience in the telecommunications industry is desirable
  • PMP and/or Scrum Master, CISSP, CISM, CISA and/or GSEC desirable

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Pre-employment background screen
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
