The Manager, Thought Leadership, will sit in our Bellevue, Wash. HQ, and will be part of a team focused on building a robust thought leadership program that identifies, creates and facilitates strategic platforms for senior leaders, specifically including those focused on our digital transformation narrative. This person will be highly collaborative ââ,¬ working alongside a cadre of pros who already have high-functioning, kick ass tools and programs in place ââ,¬ to create synergies and alignment among whatââ,¬â„¢s existing. Youââ,¬â„¢re also super creative ââ,¬ partnering with people across the company and their teams to find new ways to amplify leader voices and create storylines that set the right tone and direction. You are keen at sniffing out opportunities, detail-oriented and strategy-driven.

Responsibilities:

  • Help support a thought leadership program focused on amplifying the Un-carrier digital transformation story
  • Consult and collaborate with cross-section of senior and mid-level business leaders across the company
  • Identify and research opportunities, storylines, tools and tactics
  • Develop narratives and content, in partnership with internal resources, that underscore company and leader storylines
  • Assist in the execution of other PR, media and social activities as needed
  • Partner with agency resources


Qualifications:

  • 5+ yearsââ,¬â„¢ experience managing thought leadership, executive communications or media strategy at a PR/marketing agency or in a fast-paced corporate comms/PR team
  • Experience working with cross-functional leaders, including C-Suite
  • Understanding of T-Mobileââ,¬â„¢s Un-carrier storyline, how itââ,¬â„¢s evolved and where itââ,¬â„¢s headed
  • Experience telling stories around digital customer experiences, software development, digital marketing and digital commerce
  • Knowledge of the consumer and wireless technology and industry ââ,¬ past, current and future
  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with ability to lead development of multi-faceted narratives
  • Ability to partner across the company and with different teams
  • Proficient using MS Office
  • Bachelorââ,¬â„¢s degree is required
  • Strong writing and editing skills ââ,¬ attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
