Governance and Experience is a global team aiming to build a safe and trustworthy marketplace for not only users, but also partners. Responsibilities:
- Build and Lead a team to develop data-driven strategies and policies to enable the e-commerce business, evaluate Product Compliance, Product Quality & Safety, and IPR risk related issues.
- Maintain a keen understanding of the market and regulatory conditions to inform strategy development.
- Lead initiatives to create proactive monitoring programs based on quantitative data analysis to minimize product compliance, product quality&safety, and IPR risk(trademark, copyright, patent infringement etc.) related issues.
- Lead a team responsible for creating and operating a notice and taking down framework, developing tools, policies and processes for improving rights owner experience while minimizing IPR risk.
- Lead and support the teams in responding to, investigating, managing and resolving product compliance, quality&safety, and high-impact brand related incidents and escalations around IPR issues
- Define operational metrics, indicators, and own dashboard to monitor various aspects of the above operation effectiveness and efficiency.
- Manage cross-functional communications and data reporting for this team.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree preferably in a quantitative field such as Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Data Science or other programs with solid quantitative training or equivalent degree.
- Experience in related domains, including Strategy or Operations Management Consulting, Platform Governance, Trust and Safety Policymaking and Operations Management, or Ecommerce Strategy, Seller or Product Growth, Risk, Compliance, or Experience programs.
- At least 2 years of experience leading teams and managing cross functional partnerships.
- Proven experience on e-commerce governance strategies or policy-making.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in explaining complex solutions in a simple way and able to influence others without authority.
- Highly data driven, with experience analysing and utilising data-driven methodologies for OKR business goal setting, and business analysis, e.g, policy making, risk discovery, or programme design. Strong risk, business, product, and research acumen.
- Excellent stakeholder and program management skills, to influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior leaders to achieve results. Preferable in demonstrated ability to navigate successfully in ambiguity, with multiple priorities in a fast-paced, changing environment.
