The USDS PMO team works across all activities of impacts to TikTok USDS' operations. We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our PMO team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the efficiency, consistency, and compliance of our product security review process for product launches. You will serve as a central point of coordination, facilitating seamless communication and knowledge transfer between internal stakeholders and our global product partners.

In order to enhance collaboration and cross-functional partnerships, among other things, at this time, our organization follows a hybrid work schedule that requires employees to work in the office 3 days a week, or as directed by their manager/department. Responsibilities
- Internal Communication & Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate clear and consistent communication between individual contributors (e.g., evaluation teams) and compliance process owners (e.g., TPRM, AppSec teams). Support robust knowledge sharing and context management regarding product and compliance status to address repetitive inquiries and perceived information gaps.
- End-to-End Compliance Procedure Support: Manage the internal coordination of product/feature/app launch compliance procedures and handoffs from start to finish. Ensure that compliance requirements are communicated to Global product teams in a consistent, clear, and timely manner.
- Vertical Ownership & Reporting: Take ownership of specific product verticals, providing dedicated support and expertise. You will be responsible for managing the reporting of compliance status for your assigned verticals.
- Global Relationship Management: Serve as a key point of contact for product partners internationally, ensuring they receive accurate and up-to-date information about the compliance state of their product verticals. Proactively work to reduce friction and foster improved collaboration.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration) or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in technical program management, project management, or a similar coordination role, preferably within a security, compliance, or product development environment.
- Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical and compliance information clearly to diverse audiences (technical and non-technical).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with product development lifecycles and security review processes is a plus.
- Experience working with global teams and understanding of cultural nuances is highly desirable.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $118800 - $269800 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others. Employees also receive 10 paid holidays per year, 10 paid sick days per year and 17 days of Paid Personal Time (prorated upon hire with increasing accruals by tenure).
