By analyzing user interactions and content performance, CI empowers advertisers to make data-driven marketing decisions. The success of CI-and TikTok's broader data-driven monetization strategy-relies on high-quality labeled data and intelligent analytics at scale.
As a Product Data Scientist, you will lead the Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy and productization of our Community Insights solutions. This role sits at the intersection of data science, product development, and business strategy. You will be responsible for translating business and client needs into scalable product roadmaps, defining success metrics, and driving adoption across global markets.

Responsibilities
• Drive the productization and GTM strategy of Community Insights solutions, from early-stage exploration to scaled deployment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Science, ML, PM, Sales, and Client Solutions to define product requirements, roadmap, and monetization strategies.
• Serve as the bridge between business and technical teams-gather requirements, lead stakeholder communications, and shape narratives for client-facing presentations.
• Leverage advanced data science capabilities (e.g., supervised/unsupervised learning, NLP, CV, LLMs) to inform product design and optimize monetization opportunities.
• Translate qualitative and quantitative findings into actionable features that address client needs and increase adoption and retention.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and product benchmarking to inform prioritization and feature development.
• Own and track product success core KPI metrics; build dashboards and reporting pipelines to monitor adoption and business impact.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics) or a business-related field (e.g., Economics, MBA). Advanced degrees or PM certifications are a plus.
- 3+ years of industry experience in product management, preferably in adtech, data-driven platforms, or monetization-related products.
- Strong product intuition and a customer-centric mindset to identify pain points and translate them into scalable, impactful solutions.
- Strong understanding of content understanding frameworks and monetization models along with familiarity with data science technologies such as machine learning, NLP, LLMs, and computer vision, with the ability to translate complex concepts into intuitive insights via dashboards, presentations, or client-facing reports.
- Proficient in SQL with the ability to extract and prepare data for analysis and product decision-making.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience building data or content understanding products from 0 to 1, with full-cycle ownership from ideation to launch and iteration.
- Proven experience driving GTM strategies across multiple global regions (e.g., CNOB, NA, EU, APAC).
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of aligning cross-functional teams and influencing both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with brand marketing needs from advertisers, and experience collaborating with client solutions or sales teams to optimize product offerings.
- Hands-on experience with generative AI or multimodal models (e.g., T2V, V2T, CLIP) applied to content intelligence or brand insights.
- Experience crafting client-facing reports such as branded PDF deliverables or insight storytelling presentations.
Job Information
[For Pay Transparency] Compensation Description (annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $114000 - $240000 annually.
Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
