The global Monetization Integrity team ensures TikTok users have a safe experience while viewing advertisements. They work closely with advertisers to create ad policies, manage content review processes, and more. The team is critical in assuring a joyful and creative ads experience for the community.
This Ad Policy role will require complex problem-solving skills and a true entrepreneurial spirit working across time zones. It will help create TikTok's advertising policies across the Latin America region, adapting global policy positions to fit regional cultural and social nuances. Our ideal candidate has experience owning and evolving ad policies in the region and has the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
1. Own regional advertising policies
2. Ensure policies are appropriate for regional markets; proactively identify areas for improvement
3. Act as an escalation point for advertising campaigns working closely with Sales teams
4. Partner with cross-functional teams including other Policy leaders, Sales, Product, Risk Control and Legal to develop new advertising policies and enforcement criteria
5. Ongoing policy improvement based on a variety of input from a diversity of stakeholders.
- English and Japanese language fluency
- Experience in policy, policy enforcement, specifically regarding media/content monetization or equivalent professional experience
- Experience in online advertising policies and risk management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with international partners across multiple markets and timezones
- Deep understanding of the digital landscape and passionate about the TikTok product
- Experience working with local media/advertising regulators
