Vice President, Real Estate Product

The Alternative Product & Solutions job focuses on stewarding new alternative investment real estate products from initial concept through technical research/design/manufacture to product launch. This job identifies market opportunities and associated new real estate product strategies as well as develops new real estate product value propositions and targeted feature sets. While managing large projects with limited oversight from their manager, This role will focus on leading the design and structuring of products, as well as the management of existing products, to ensure this job ensures new real estate product success through close collaboration with investment teams, research & design, marketing, and sales leadership.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Proposes and develops new real estate investment products on the basis of market demand, competition, internal capabilities, profitability, and strategic direction of the firm.

  • Oversees core, open-end real estate products and have a deep familiarity with NCREIF-ODCE landscape

  • Conducts feasibility analysis with key stakeholders while establishing product strategy and defining appropriate benchmark(s).

  • Drives overall development, launch, and integration of new real estate products and services through coordinating cross-functional teams and project management.

  • Leads structuring of real estate products or accounts, working closely with portfolio management, legal, accounting, and client servicing teams.

  • Oversees, monitors, and evaluates alternative investment products for performance, style consistency, and profitability

  • Identifies product gaps, as well as other issues and concerns around product management and implements procedures for filling gaps and takes corrective action

     

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Real Estate product management experience

Potential Salary: $145,000.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
