Reporting into the Head of TIAA Marketing Web Management, the TIAA B2B Digital Marketing Web Lead will be responsible for developing and executing strategic digital marketing programs in support of business and user needs. S/he will be responsible for ensuring that the TIAA go-to-market strategy and brand is reflected throughout the B2B web properties. S/he is a digitally savvy, customer-focused marketer who is passionate about building customer experiences that deliver value and outcomes. With the foresight to help build our digital vision and ability to execute rapidly in an agile, high growth and collaborative business environment, s/he is a modern marketer, data-led and able to leverage a myriad of tech and tools to continually improve the site experience. S/he will deliver improvements to contribute to the build of a best-in-class web experience to transform this consumer property into a strategic asset for lead generation and engagement with prospects and clients.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage Plan Sponsor, Consultant and Advisor public sites, and marketing messaging within Plan Focus and Business Edge

  • Partner with client & product marketing and brand teams to understand the marketing objectives and strategies, and translate those priorities for the digital channel, scoping and prioritizing activities based on business and customer impact

  • Understand the targets and segments and represents the user needs

  • Deliver strategic roadmap for web properties, including vision, customer needs, multi-year roadmaps, strategic themes, portfolio backlog, target journeys and KPIs. Ensure alignment with TIAA business priorities, overall digital strategy and broader customer value streams.

  • Serve as digital SME for B2B, partnering with product manager to prioritize development asks

  • Work closely with business partners, product owners and the creative team to create web pages within the CMS, utilizing different components and templates to achieve the optimal design and customer experience

  • Manage content on web properties, and marketing spaces within MyTIAA and the mobile app including journey creation, content strategy and page optimization

  • Leverage full suite of martech tools including CMS (AEM), SEO, personalization (Interaction Studio), testing (Google Optimize), tagging (Google Tag Manager), CDP, CRM (SFMC) and marketing automation

  • Implement qualitative web experience assessments and champion the customers’ viewpoints by gathering and analyzing feedback to improve outcomes on web properties, develop a cadence for consuming, addressing and reporting on findings and impact

  • Identify opportunities to simplify client experience across web properties and beyond

  • Regularly and systematically use analytics to uncover opportunities, track product performance, and drive decision making

  • Define scorecard and monitor data to ensure KPIs are being met on an on-going basis. Understand underlying factors driving key metrics and be a champion for change to drive improvements. Be accountable for meeting or exceeding KPIs established. Partner with Analytics team to utilize data to drive assumptions, recommendations and reporting of results.

  • Monitor external best-in-class digital experiences and trends within and outside of Financial Services industry to anticipate impact to customer expectations/needs and impacts across our digital experiences

  • Demonstrate subject matter expertise, understand interdependencies/challenges and assist in breaking down barriers to progress

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Required Qualifications

  • Five plus years of web management experience or similar role
  • Five plus years of experience collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team and building strong relationships with stakeholders, team members and clients
  • Five plus years of experience leading strategic, complex large-scale initiatives involving many work streams and multi-month development, including demonstrated ability to focus on long term goals and strategic outcomes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Seven plus years of web management experience or similar role
  • Financial services industry/ asset management experience strongly preferred
  • Team player with solid interpersonal skills, and the ability to deliver effective oral and written communications
  • Experience analyzing, interpreting and acting on customer data and insights
  • Strong knowledge of usability and customer experience principles and techniques for mobile and web information architecture and design
  • Proven ability to execute in scaled agile, taking on end-to-end product ownership and successfully delivering results in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Motivated self-starter who is able to work independently
  • Ability to think creatively
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Experience working in a global, cross-functional team is a plus
  • Expert level understanding of digital, social and emerging tech trends
  • Experience with marketing technology platforms such as AEM, Interaction Studio, Google Optimize,  Google Tag Manager, SFMC

Potential Salary: $175,000.00 USD

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
