The Bus Cont Improv job executes the operations of improvement projects from initial research and assessment stages through the transition and implementation phases. Working under general supervision, this job works with functional teams across the organization to identify and execute improvement strategies that best enhance operations. This job also calculates metrics that measure the impact of process enhancements after they are implemented by the organization.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Runs process improvement and continuous improvement analyses to identify potential upgrades that would be ideal for business unit goals.

  • Implements process enhancements to improve operating efficiencies and cost effectiveness.

  • Works with functional teams across the organization to discuss and determine needs for business improvements and to strategize possible business solutions.

  • Runs business diagnostics to identify, quantify and prioritize value creation projects in congruence with team feedback and input.

  • Works with multiple levels of the organization to ensure that the transition to new programs and implemented solutions is smooth and effective.

  • Calculates metrics to demonstrate the impact implemented changes have had on the organization.

    Job Summary

    The Bus Cont Improv job executes the operations of improvement projects from initial research and assessment stages through the transition and implementation phases. Looking for strong VBA and SQL skills from previous experience in a similar role.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Own improvement & healthy operation of critical reports consumed by the leaders & individual contributors to monitor business process performance

    • Implements process enhancements to improve operating efficiencies and cost effectiveness with a specialization in process automation.

    • Own ongoing maintenance & improvement of low code tools utilized by the business


    •2 years of experience automating processes through use of tools including but not limited to Excel, VBA, SharePoint Designer or other low code development

    • 2 years of SQL or similar methodologies for accessing, consolidating, contextualizing & provisioning data sourced from various enterprise system

    • PowerPoint experience for delivering presentations to leaders)



    • Bachelor’s degree in an Analytical/Math/Engineering field

    • Knowledge in continuous improvement tools and processes (like Lean Six Sigma highly preferred

    • Proven ability to solve problems in a structured manner

    • Ability to influence and drive consensus amongst varied set of stakeholders

    • Ability to prioritize competing priorities to ensure execution of high value/impact items

    • Work independently, self-motivated and able to multi-task in a fast-paced ever-changing environment

    Potential Salary: $75,200.00 USD

    Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.  In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
