Association Marketing Manager

Raleigh, NC

This is a Non-Employee Contingent Worker Role providing services for TIAA’s family of companies and will be employed by TIAA's preferred 3rd Party Supplier. As a Non-Employee CW, perform a variety of moderately complex business planning, support, and project-related duties. Demonstrates an exceptional standard of quality and holds themselves accountable to achieving excellent results.

This role is located onsite at our TIAA office in Virtual, NC, USA but will currently be remote.

The anticipated term of this engagement will be 12 months. This term could be extended based on company business needs.

The Marketing Manager, Association Sponsorships is responsible for marketing coordination, planning and execution of a portfolio of TIAA industry association sponsorship programs. As a member of the Strategic Client Engagement Team, this individual will partner with the Association Team to coordinate the marketing efforts internally and externally for a full portfolio of programs.  This role will help drive business outcomes, increase brand awareness and engage key audiences including our top clients, key influencers and target audiences.

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serves as marketing coordinator for association marketing opportunities with the broader enterprise marketing centers of excellence

  • Assists in developing integrated marketing plans with the association team and with Marketing and Enterprise partners to deliver plans and increase brand presence at key sponsorship programs

  • Will liaise with the centers of excellence to coordinate creative needs (e.g. collateral, ads, banners, etc.) and social media opportunities

  • Will partner with the association team to lead “tier 3 and 4” association programs, leading turn-key solutions for high volume, lower impact programs

  • Will be responsible for ensuring all materials are compliant through our internal protocols

  • Will serve as the main point of contact for the association team on utilizing our event management and communication software to maintain program entries, prepare client communications and program invitations

  • Responsible for driving operational excellence in marketing of sponsorship programs – including planning, execution, reporting, measurement etc.

  • Will serve as the main point of contact with internal Marketing Centers of Excellences

  • Ability to build relationships internally in order to support the needs of the organization as appropriate
     

Educational Requirements

  • University (Degree) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 5+ Years Required; 7+ Years Preferred

Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location.
