Engineer Cloud
Leads in design planning for a company's technology architecture structure; implements hardware and software infrastructure.
Educational Requirements

• University (Degree) Preferred

• 3+ Years Required; 5+ Years Preferred

• Physical Requirements: Sedentary Work

Primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Provide daily, ongoing oversight of cloud security platform operations.
• Participate in designing and managing IT security strategy in various cloud platforms.
• Assist with projects involving cloud technologies and provide guidance on security engineering and architecture.
• Actively assess existing cloud implementations, identify security issues and implement fixes.
• Engineer and implement new cloud security tools to feed DevOps processes to ensure the solvency of the cloud compute resource.
• Actively assess existing cloud implementations, identify security issues and implement fixes.
• Develop security design and control implementation for container platforms including OpenShift, EKS, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
• Provide engineering and implementation expertise for security tools such as PaloAlto Prisma Cloud, Tenable, Crowdstrike, F5-ASM, Akamai Kona, etc.
• Assist in integration, and rollout of Application Security tools into the CI/CD pipeline.

Excellent command of DevSecOps organization practices, operations risk management processes, principles, Cloud securityl requirements, engineering threats and vulnerabilities
