This position is responsible for ensuring Nuveen's Distribution Analytics and Reporting team aligns to our distribution strategy and enhances the effectiveness of client acquisition, development and retention. They will leverage knowledge of distribution channels and data to inform strategy, uncover areas of opportunity, develop new optimized end-to-end models, apply statistics to enhance the client experience, report on key indicators of sales performance and using those findings to help set the strategic agenda for both the sales and marketing organization. Projects will include coverage optimization, lead generation, pipeline analysis, market segmentation, and ongoing performance measurement. These projects will require close collaboration across the Global Distribution, Product, Marketing, Client Servicing and Technology teams in addition to Distribution Enablement and Data Science teams.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Leverage data to drive improvements in our sales and marketing efforts and coverage model.
Ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights to team and senior stakeholders to ensure capabilities and analysis are well understood and tangible.
Perform analysis of historical data to surface trends and insights using advanced analytical methods.
Develop distribution KPIs and report success metrics to business stakeholders.
Develop, own and manage recurring analytic and reporting processes working in close collaboration with Technology, Distribution Enablement and other teams to create a scalable reporting model.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting to ensure business success and optimization.

Required Qualifications:
- Three plus years of relevant work experience in investment management/financial services industries or relating industry
- Three plus years of experience with data analysis and logical reasoning skills
- Three plus years advanced SQL knowledge and experience analyzing complex data sets
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in relevant field (finance, marketing, computer science, statistics, applied mathematics)
- Experience with Alteryx and/or Tableau
- Strong executive presence, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in in a matrixed organization
Potential Salary: $97,600.00 USD
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
