ThoughtWorks

Recruitment Marketing Specialist

We are in an exciting time in ThoughtWorks Spain's history.... we are 12 months old, have just moved to fantastic new offices in Barcelona and we've just opened our first office in Madrid. We have huge growth plans and we need an experienced Marketing specialist to work within our recruitment team to define our overall employer brand strategy and implement it.

The role is an interesting mixture of marketing manager, community manager, event manager, project manager and business analyst - your ability to gather requirements, bring innovation and generally make things better will all be put to good use.

What you will bring:

  • Previous marketing and recruitment/employer branding experience. Preferably at a strategic level but also comfortable executing as part of a team. Event and campaign management capability is very important

Passion and experience with online communities and an interest in helping us to harness social media for recruiting purposes.

  • Enthusiasm and a “get it done” mentality

  • Attention to detail, ability to run with many small, but important initiatives

  • Project management and business analysis skills

  • A focus on measurement, goal setting and delivery

  • Readiness to learn from our recruiters, our Professional Services and our marketing teams; as well as readiness to share the contex

  • Tons of enthusiasm and a “get it done” mentality.

  • Passion for online communities and an interest in helping us to harness social media for marketing and recruiting purposes.

  • Creativity and willingness to push the boundaries

  • Fluent in Spanish and English. Fluency in Catalan is a bonus but not essential.
  •
    What you will do:

    • Envision, coordinate and manage a marketing plan that you help create, making sure that we’re executing properly, with the correct messaging/positioning

    • Ensure all the initiatives within the plan are run as part of an overarching campaign, not as isolated incidents.

    • Leverage social media and build online campaigns that our recruiters need.

    • Be involved with other ThoughtWorkers in creating a community strategy across multiple channels (LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, whatever else crops up) so that we are building online connections with potential ThoughtWorkers.

    • Messaging and Positioning: take the ‘big picture’ ThoughtWorks context, including project work that excites candidates, and translate it into meaningful messages for our recruiters. Then deliver this content on a regular basis so that our recruiters use it to differentiate the Company

    • Get involved in shaping the ThoughtWorks employer brand. It is dynamic and evolving. The candidate will be joining at a great time to have an impact on the brand’s development. We are looking for a brand activist (versus brand police) in helping shape the brand and move it forward

    • Take responsibility for helping us figure out how we share leads across databases (Avature and Marketo) and build a strategy to communicate with potential ThoughtWorkers

    • Define success: bring the concept of measurement into our recruiting strategy, so that we know what brings results; and what doesn’t

If this sounds like you and you are ready for the challenge then we want to hear from you!
