Senior Pricing Evaluator, Corporate Bonds

A Senior Evaluator at Thomson Reuters Pricing Service is responsible for providing timely and accurate end-of-day evaluations on corporate bonds at Thomson Reuters Pricing Service (TRPS). TRPS provides evaluated pricing on over 2.4 million fixed income instruments and derivatives per day and disseminates these evaluations to asset managers, custodian banks, investment banks and third party vendors.

Senior evaluators provide evaluations on a variety of corporate bond sectors by incorporating market data and analytical tools. Market data include a network of dealer contacts, trade prices, the new issue market, research reports, and market news. Tools include analytical models, bond pricing models and quality control systems. The core function of the senior evaluator is to produce accurate fair market values for their assigned sectors.

A key daily function is the analysis of trade data. Market data consists of the MSRB trade tape as well as non trading quotes, offerings and bids. The senior evaluator must examine these market data inputs for consistency and determine which market data should be incorporated into each evaluation. Additionally, Senior Evaluators must be able to compile appropriate market data for the creation of proprietary trading curves for model input.

The desired candidate will have the following qualifications:

Minimum 5 Years industry experience

Network of broker, dealer, and buy side contacts

Corporate Bond trading or sales experience

Strong communication skills

Quantitative and analytical skills

Spreadsheet skills

Bachelors Degree
