The Reuters - NABJ Fellowship Program offers nine months of reporting experience in a Reuters U.S. bureau. This fellowship, open to members of the National Association of Black Journalists, is part of the Reuters Editorial Trainee Program. Participants develop skills in reporting stories that inform the professional and financial communities and can expect to work on daily breaking news stories and collaborate on longer-term reporting projects.

We seek rising reporters and business professionals who are committed to a career in journalism, can generate story ideas, and present stories with alacrity. Multimedia skills are a plus - a demonstrated ability to write with flair while using text, video and/or graphics.
Successful fellows will have already had some training in the basics of journalism. As members of reporting teams, they will be mentored by some of our finest journalists to deliver news stories to Thomson Reuters' high standards. This program has enabled past participants to move into full time assignments with Reuters in locations around the world.
