Product Manager - Valuation

Responsible for the guidance and management of the overall Product direction and ensuring that growth is in alignment with the needs of our existing customer base and potential clients. The Product manager is expected to balance demands from various stakeholders when setting development priorities . Reviews business and product needs, regulations, and laws for complex projects to anticipate potential market / regulatory impacts. Expected to have a strong proprietary knowledge base and previous experience in requirements analysis and authoring.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of competitive landscape and assist with sales initiatives specific to those areas
  • Work with Program Management, Sales & Marketing to support:
  • RFP responses
  • Fit Gap Analysis sessions
  • Sales demos
  • Conference attendance
  • Support fit-gap sessions and ensure appropriate scope and priority on contracted and requested deliverables is maintained.
  • Define and drive product roadmap and product vision for functional area. Contribute to overall product suite roadmap and vision.
  • Provide strategy and design for cross-functional processes and dependencies
  • Set and manage to release plans for modules and functional areas
  • Assure redundancy and cross-training across all product modules and expertise to support Agile development and requirements gathering.
  • Strategize with Engineering Directors to meet the needs of the overall suite of products to ensure:
  • Cohesive functionality through the system for the end user
  • Work is not duplicated from module to module
  • Understanding of the client feedback and how we enhance customer satisfaction through the products we are providing.
  • Contribute to the successful implementation of Aumentum Valuation products by participating in gap analysis sessions for new implementations and supporting implementation teams as required
  • Work with the Development, QA, and Project Management teams in an agile process to bring products to market

  • Ten years of either Residential or Commercial real estate appraisal experience required including: Familiarity with wide range of generally accepted Valuation methods, Mass appraisal tools and techniques, Working knowledge of Property Assessment cycle
  • Five years' experience with enterprise software preferred
  • Software product management experience preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Suites skills
  • Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills
  • Travel to customer sites and other events expected up to 50%
  • May require extended work schedules, tight deadlines and conflicting priorities
  • Must be able to work in a variety of social, cultural, legal, and political environments
