Position Summary
We are seeking to appoint a permanent full-time Editor based in Wellington. The role is comprised of two separate and distinct components: (i) the formation, development and generation of content for Brookers Customised Law (BCL); and (ii) the production of scheduled updates for assigned specialist New Zealand law reports.

To be successful in this role you will need to be well-informed of New Zealand's legislative processes, as well as having an active and keen interest in these processes.
You will possess a high degree of attention to detail, and will need to have the ability to work in a methodical manner; be capable of expressing information clearly and succinctly; and will be able to respond appropriately and quickly to changes in the law, while keeping oversight of all parts of their assigned product portfolio.
The ideal person we are looking for will have a relevant tertiary qualification and publishing/editing experience and will have the following:
- Relevant legal tertiary qualification is preferred, though not essential
- Exceptional eye for detail
- Good knowledge of the NZ legal and legislative system
- Previous writing or editing experience an advantage
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Enthusiasm for solving technological problems
