Assist in validating and, where necessary, updating federal and state statutes and regulations. The work will involve comparing the treatment of statutes and regulations to the current version of those statutes and regulations; identifying any disparity between the two; and, depending on the degree of difficulty, updating the treatise text to conform to the current state of the law, and incorporating new statutory and regulatory material.
- Conduct legal research: review and analyze case law, statutory, trial, and other documents.
- Perform editorial activities, which may include:
- Quality assurance.
- Review of new content and linking.
- Analyzing and writing summaries of documents and changes to primary law.
- Selecting documents according to pre-established standards.
- Classifying documents.
- Undertake preliminary resource maintenance tasks.
- Provide additional project support to assigned team
- 10-20 flexible hours per week during the school year. Possibility to work 40 hours per week during non school work weeks.

- 4-year University or College degree required.
- Completion of first or second year of an ABA-accredited law school.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Demonstrated strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and express complex legal material quickly and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, consistently meet deadlines, and achieve individual objectives within larger team projects.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Sound PC skills including applications such as Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
- Experience using Westlaw Next preferred
