Role Summary:

Thomson Reuter's Information Security & Risk Management (ISRM) team is looking for an experienced leader to manage the day to day logistical operations across the Governance, Risk, Customer Assurance, Product Security and Business Solutions teams. This role will be responsible for assisting ISRM leadership in managing key relationships including management reporting operating rhythms. This role will also be directly involved in providing Project Management Office (PMO) support across key programs in the group.

The ideal candidate will possess the right demeanor, skillset and experience to operate in the fast-paced and dynamic world of information security and risk, with experience managing several portfolios and tracks of effort, as well as the right global contact base to connect critical teams and issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the Governance, Risk, Customer Assurance, Product Security and Business Solutions portfolio
  • Help develop key senior management operating rhythms in a global and matrixed environment
  • Ability to integrate strong operational rigor into the project management office and management reporting areas
  • Develop continuous monitoring and process improvements for evolving information security & risk area
  • Assist ISRM leadership with the day to day engagement management and tracking across external and internal parties

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Must possess strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking and group facilitation skills, specifically in large or complex problem settings
  • Extensive experience in the information security and risk domain
  • Awareness of industry trends and developments
  • Change agent with ability to drive accountability & outcomes across a diverse threat landscape
  • Strong business acumen & successful track record in aligning with customers
  • Must be a strong cross-functional team player with ability to manage and coach others in a matrix structure, across time zone and national boundaries
  • Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United Kingdom
  • Must submit to a background investigation, including verification of past employment, criminal history and educational background

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
  • Prince2

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Program Management or Business Operations
