Head of Product Development

Omnesys is a Thomson Reuters owned market-leading Order Management System for Capital Markets. The product allows retail investors, institutional investors, Asset Management Companies and Wealth Management firms to trade in multiple asset classes, through its suite of products across Order Management, Front-end, Algorithmic trading and back-office solutions.

We are looking for a seasoned and experienced Leader to head the Market Development for Brokering business build around the OMS proposition of Omnesys.


Defines and drives product strategy, roadmap, design, and business requirements for the Omnesys suite of products.

Provides thought leadership for Exchange Traded Instruments platform and understanding the requirements of this Industry.

Work closely with some of our Largest clients to understand their requirements and build these in the Product Roadmap

Work with the Technology team closely to evolve the next generation of the Trading platform for Retail and Institutional clients.

Identify new technology trends and build them in the Product Roadmap.


Define and drive product vision, design and feature set. Devise business plan for budgetary approval and roadmaps.

Drives innovation and differentiation across a set of propositions, products or services to address current and future client needs.

Ownership of strategy, design, business requirements, feature and functionality tradeoffs and release schedule for a set of propositions, products or services.

Gathers, prioritizes, and analyzes client feedback to drive product innovation and increase client adoption and retention.

Support Business teams as required for Client requirement vetting and feedback gathering on new and existing products. Identifies build vs. buy opportunities for proposition and leverages the organization to execute as needed.

Works very closely with Exchanges and Regulators to understand their plans as well as put across TR's views/concerns with these bodies.

Works closely with Development teams to ensure Product roadmaps are agreed on with respect to timelines and deliverables.

Works closely with BA's to ensure they are able to aticulate client requirements into the development pipeline.

Works on large bids with the Sales team to provide the best Solution.

Works closely with Pre-Sales team to arm them with tools and capabilities to demonstrate to clients

Works closely with Marketing to create product co-laterals brochures, campaigns for new Product releases.

Responsible for reviewing current products to ensure that quality and currency are being maintained

Participate in revenue planning and pricing decisions for new products

Works closely with Technology partners, Vendors and Start-ups for providing them seamless access to Trading API's

Creates trust and credibility with stakeholders/user community and works with them to identify issues and risks that may impact the immediate organization.

Adept at all aspects of technical communications, including using presentations technologies (e.g. WebEx, PowerPoint) and software demonstrations.

Provides effective dissemination of management information, leadership, and general communications to staff, tailoring as needed for individual areas.

Ensures compliance requirements and other governance measures are met.
