FindLaw Performance Team Internship - Summer 2019

The Performance Team is responsible for developing leading edge digital marketing capabilities, including but not limited to SEO, lead generation, paid search, mobile, video and social. This organization drives business results by cultivating and maintaining digital marketing expertise (many times through pilots) that is then applied to solutions and capabilities. In this role, you will deliver on multiple efforts through testing and analysis, while being fully emerged in web/internet trends and technologies, including search engine marketing. We supplement this work with amazing opportunities to meet and network with top executives across TR and in-depth training in our corporate culture with plenty of volunteer and fun activities to make the summer memorable. As an Intern you are asked to strive towards several key milestones and goals. These Include:

  • Work closely with FindLaw Product Teams to validate market opportunity, flesh out product concepts, and develop business cases
  • Own and/or champion initiatives/capabilities to drive incremental performance/value
  • Work with various groups to create Product/Solution/Capability Best Practices
  • Partner across the organization to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Assist in pilot execution as defined in concert with Product Management and Development
  • Assist with special projects as assigned
  • Ensure products and capabilities created deliver on defined value proposition by performing data analysis and validation
  • Provide testing and production support


In order to be successful attaining these goals, skill sets desired include:

  • Strong general technical prowess
  • Effectively handle and prioritize multiple and complex projects
  • Vast understanding of digital marketing, web and publishing technologies (WordPress and API integration experience a plus)
  • Strong analytical experience and expertise with web analytics software
  • Leverage data to analyze, troubleshoot, and recommend corrective action
  • Ability to drive change, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive business results
  • Perform competitive analysis and recommend actionable items
  • Ability to validate web code and recommend corrective action when issues are found (browser developer tool experience a plus)


To be considered, you have these qualifications:
  • Be entering your Junior or Senior year of college.
  • Must be a self-starter
  • History of academic excellence
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
  • Experience in the legal digital marketing vertical a plus
  • Previous internship experience a plus
  • Strong analytical experience and expertise with web analytics software
  • Leverage data to analyze, troubleshoot, and recommend corrective action
  • Ability to drive change, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive business results
  • Perform competitive analysis and recommend actionable items
