We are looking for a Finance Manager to join the FX Transactions Sales finance team at the 3 Times Square, New York, NY office. This position is responsible for providing analytical support and reporting for the FX transactions business, ensuring information is clearly structured and presented to senior management in a way that can inform business decisions and assist the organization in achieving financial and operational targets.
MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
Provide analytical support for annual financial planning and forecasting processes, including efficiently consolidating financial information, producing reports and preparing management presentations.
Prepare consolidated transactions sales reporting including regional volume, pricing, footprint and revenue
Work with regional transactions sales management team to prepare volume and revenue forecasts
Drive process creation and continuous improvement in quarterly commission schemes including payment calculations and forecasting
Provide operational decision support to global and regional heads of transaction sales
Analyze performance against key operational metrics, providing observations on trends and business drivers
Prepare various financial analyses of monthly, quarterly and full-year financial results vs. Plan
Proactively and effectively communicate key issues to management.
Design and develop analytical tools to improve data collection and management reporting efforts.
Perform ad hoc financial (sensitivity and trending), strategic and operational analysis.
Four-year college degree required; preference for degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
Knowledge and Skills:
5 years of experience in finance, planning, accounting or related field
Excellent analytical ability with strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with Access, Oracle and Business Objects a plus
Ability to manipulate and consolidate large amounts of data from various sources and present in clear/concise formats appropriate for management reporting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral) essential
Must have familiarity with finance concepts and financial statements to articulate P&L drivers
Must be detail-oriented with ability to multitask simultaneous projects
Must be able to contribute constructively to team-oriented environment and meet tight deadlines in dynamic environment
