Thomson Reuters Tax andAccounting providesprofessionals with products that offer effective solutions for their tax andaccounting requirements. TRTA is looking for anexperienced Account Manager to assume responsibility for an assignedterritory in which they will be required to perform field sales client meetingsand have a home based office.
The Account Manager isresponsible for maximizing the level of revenue and achieving the businessobjectives and sales revenue targets within a designated geographicterritory. This includes primary responsibility for the acquisition ofnew sales and assistance with the retention of existing clients.
The ideal candidate willhave professional, high activity, sales experience in either the taxand/or accounting /legal markets. Experience in the payroll,copier or document imaging industries will also beconsidered. The candidate will be required to work from a homeoffice in an appropriate office environment.Travel is less than fiftypercent, and rarely, but some minimal overnight travel will be required.
- Three to five years professional direct field sales experience
- Ability to successfully manage relationships with and sales to Fortune 1000 companies
- Proficient in office automation systems such Lotus Notes, Microsoft Office products
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and within urgent timelines
- Demonstrated ability to conduct small and large group product demonstrations and other presentations
- Ability to work under a quota system and past documented success of achieving quota
- Knowledge of the tax and accounting market is helpful but not required
- Bachelor degree preferred
