Equities Correspondent, Sao Paulo
We are seeking a talented reporter to join our busy Sao Paulo newsroom, covering company news in Latin America's largest economy as it recovers from its worst recession in more than a century. The beat includes some of the world's biggest corporations and wealthiest investors, with a stream of daily developments coming from Brazil's dynamic markets and turbulent political scene.
As the Brazilian government prepares a raft of new privatizations and the local market for initial public offerings heats up, we need a strong all-around journalist and a team player to help on everything from daily securities filings to probing analyses of corporate strategy.
The successful candidate will be a determined reporter, with a proven track record of developing sources and breaking news, as well as a talented writer, with the ability to bring complex stories to life for the general reader.
