Job Description

Process Engineering is part of the Refinitiv Customer Operations Process Engineering and Automation (PE&A) team. Customer Operations is responsible for delivery to customers and execution that brings true value to our customer relationships. The mission of the PE&A team is to drive a culture of continuous improvement and governance across Customer Operations to achieve operational excellence. The Process Engineering teams engage and facilitate operating mechanisms for idea generation, innovation, process re-engineering, and robustness of business requirement for new features /functions. Also within the PE&A team are: a Project Management office, Business Process Improvement, and Governance.

The Director of Process Engineering manages a team of process engineers that are engaged in facilitating operating mechanisms for idea generation, innovation, process re-engineering, and robustness of business requirements for new feature /function. This team is responsible for improving operational processes in order to augment efficiency (including automation solutions), reduce cost, improve sustainability and maximize return on investment. This role will align with one or more of the groups in Customer Operations as a member of those leadership teams as well as the Process Engineer & Automation leadership team.

Responsibilities:

Harvests ideas from multiple sources and mobilizes around these ideas to quantify their value, implement the improvements that add the most value to the business through both technology and process re-engineering Owns the operationalization of new features/ functions to ensure new client facing solutions scale & deliver first time right every time Governs the process from ideation through production as well as the cadence of operating mechanisms to add transparency to project progress and return on investment Manages major programs and projects across customer operations in a way that adds rigor and transparency Recognizes and rewards best in class examples of driving the continuous improvement culture from our peers within Customer Operations COE's Leverages six sigma/lean capability Acts as an extension of SLT staff (aka business partner) to drive continuous improvement Works in collaboration with Project Management and Governance. Ensures a close partnership with Performance Excellence capabilities around data exchange and KPI measurements. Engages cross functionally with Technology on information exchange, requirement planning.

Qualifications/Experience/Skills Requirements

  • Leadership Presence: Represents the PE&A team on the Customer Operations business leadership team(s) and ensures clear alignment on strategy and breadth and depth of the service capability to enable idea generation and optimal opportunity scope.
  • Technical: Demonstrated technical skills in process design and methods; working knowledge of 6 sigma methods; curiosity to explore and champion new ideas.
  • Soft skills: Strong communication skills, ability to influence, impactful presentation skills, successful management of ambiguity
  • Demonstrated collaboration skills.
