Position: Delivery Lead Financial Trade Documentation

Job Description:

This candidate would be responsible for:

  • Manage a global team tasked with negotiating and re-negotiating derivative agreements and other related master agreements.
  • Supervise, review, and approve final agreements produced by the negotiation team.
  • Directly draft, negotiate and finalize complex derivative agreements and other related master agreements.
  • Liaise with and be accountable to key Thomson Reuter's clients to ensure work product of the negotiation team is held to high standard, provide metrics of the team's negotiation status, and be responsive to the changing needs of Thomson Reuter's clients.
  • Track, engage, and participate in market trends/events as they develop including ISDA working groups and related regulatory development.
  • Make recommendations to senior management on how negotiation process and team operations can be improved.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the following types of agreements and opinions: ISDA Master Agreements and associated agreements (including Credit Support Annexes, margin annexes, guaranties, tri-party account control agreements, and confidentiality agreements, where applicable), GMRAs (Global Master Repurchase Agreement), MRAs (Master Repurchase Agreement), GMLSAs (Global Master Securities Lending Agreement), MSLAs (Master Securities Lending Agreement), MSFTAs Master Securities Forward Transaction Agreement), and futures and swap clearing agreements.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Ideal candidates for this position should ably demonstrate the following:
  • Ability to manage a global team, communicate clearly, and focus on client deliverables.
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate closely with stakeholders from different disciplines, bank colleagues, and within a team.
  • Qualification:
  • Law Degree in good standing in the U.S. or U.K., but with good experience and understanding of New York and/or English law

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge of Thomson Reuters products and services
  • Experience working in a global matrix environment
