Change Analyst

The goal of the change management process within Thomson Reuters is to create, communicate and refine the standard policies and procedures that are used for efficient and prompt handling of all infrastructure changes. These methods and procedures are designed to minimize the impact of change-related incidents upon service quality which results in higher service levels for our customers

The Change Management Team is responsible for the management and control of IT requests for change to all Applications Operations and PGO systems. The team manages and co-ordinates a high volume of change to these production systems. It is a busy and stimulating environment that requires drive, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and an IT service management focus. The role also includes the production of key reporting statistics and Change performance reports. Candidates should have broad experience of IT Service Support, ideally IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) qualified to Foundation or Change Management Practitioner level. The person will need to run meetings and push back on changes if they do not meet the requirements. The person must be able to work on their own and be part of a Global team, with been able to motivate themselves and the groups that they will interact with.

  • Bachelor's degree in related program preferred.
  • Experience working in a busy and challenging IT organization
  • Awareness of ITIL best practice guidelines
  • Experience of using Service Management Toolsets, preferably Service Manager
  • Must display drive, enthusiasm and attention to detail
  • Communicates clearly and precisely both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to plan and prioritize workload and demands
  • Take personal ownership to deliver customer satisfaction
  • Able to work in a Global environment
