Position Summary

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive sales across our suite of Checkpoint and ONESOURCE, with a focus on the Checkpoint solutions targeted at professional services and accounting firms.

Checkpoint is a highly respected solution in the market, which blends cutting-edge technology, editorial insight, time-saving productivity tools, online learning & news updates with intelligent linking to related content and software.


Your key priorities will be new business development, and building increasing value within the clients you establish to achieve overall revenue targets. You will attain these results by proactively engaging with new clients and, working with our consulting and leadership team, develop close relationships with customers to understand their business and provide them with a targeted solution.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate strong new business development experience, together with solution selling and consultative sales experience, including demonstrated experience managing long sales cycles. Ideally you will have SaaS sales experience within law/accounting or other professional areas, although this is not essential. You will require a real passion for sales, a personal drive for success and a strong determination to achieve your objectives.

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in professional sales or new business development.
  • Demonstrated track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong 'hunter' mentality
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, presentation and consultative sales skills
  • Customer centric approach
  • Commercial acumen and ability to identify opportunities to cross sell solutions
  • Good organizational and time management skills
