AP Accountant

To support the accounting team in Baar we are looking for a 50% Accounts Payable Accountant.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Accounts Payable and Travel and expenses process for Thomson Reuters Baar based entities ensuring that all costs and payments are correctly recorded, resolving any issues arising from these processes
  • Creating and maintaining vendor master data
  • Organise & control local payments and bank accounts
  • Assist the corporate accounting team with various administration, accounting and treasury tasks
  • General office administration & correspondence

You are an experienced computer-literate individual, preferably educated to KV level, with work experience within a large international company or professional firm. You are capable of working efficiently under pressure, displaying enthusiasm and the proactive nature necessary to add value to the organisation. You have the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and be able to prioritize and coordinate work distribution. Overall you must possess outstanding communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to operate in an international environment.

Basic requirements for the position are:

  • Solid working experience in SAP FI and Ariba
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Previous experience of working with Shared Service Center preferable
  • Basic level of accounting knowledge would be an asset
