Job Description
Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our diverse team as a Staff Scientist specializing in ELISA Product Development for Animal Health.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and planning the development of ELISA product portfolio, cross-site planning and execution of ELISA assays, screening and qualifying raw materials, optimizing ELISA protocols, conducting experiments, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development of new products, as well as support for the products in the range in accordance with the division's strategies;
- Responsible for reporting to the Agribusiness R&D manager on the progress of projects and compliance with the execution schedule;
- Coordinate and execute ELISA assay development for animal health applications across multiple sites;
- Lead internal or external complex projects;
- Lead external partnership for product development. Connect with external laboratories/KOL/reference laboratories/Authorities;
- Setup external studies;
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in immunology and assay development;
- Contribute to the improvement of diagnostic tools and solutions for the veterinary industry;
- Provide support to RA team on registration requests;
- Lead manufacturing transfer activities;
- Conduct on-market product support.

Requirements:
- Minimum of a Master's degree in cell, molecular biology, immunology, biochemistry or other life science related discipline with 6+ years industry experience/ Ph.D with 4+ industry experience;
- Strong background in immunology, molecular biology, and assay development;
- Proven track record of in vitro diagnostic kit development;
- Previous experience in ELISA development and optimization;
- Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation;
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams//multicultural teams and external partners/KOL;
- Passion for contributing to the improvement of diagnostic tools and solutions for the veterinary industry.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €45 500,00-€68 225,00.
