Job Description
Position Overview:
The HR Director will play a crucial role in supporting the strategic objectives of the global Marketing, Finance, and Operations departments in the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Division. This position requires a solid understanding of human resources principles and practices, as well as the ability to align HR strategies with business goals. The HR Director will be responsible for leading all aspects of HR for the assigned functions within the division, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee development.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create and implement strategies and initiatives aligned with the division's goals and objectives, while ensuring adherence with company policies and local employment laws.
- Partner with divisional leaders to understand their needs and provide direction on talent acquisition, workforce planning, and leadership development.
- Ensure a diverse and qualified candidate pool is considered for all key roles.
- Establish and maintain effective employee relations practices, fostering a positive work environment and addressing employee concerns in a timely and fair manner.
- Coordinate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans, to drive employee engagement and efficiency.
- Support leaders in designing and deploying employee development initiatives, including training and career development initiatives, to enhance individual and team performance.
- Maintain compliance with legal requirements and company policies related to employment practices, diversity and inclusion, and workplace safety.
- Stay up-to date on industry trends and preferred methodologies in HR.
- Proactively find opportunities for process improvements and innovative HR solutions.
- Develop successful leaders, providing coaching and guidance to further their professional growth and ensure we continually strengthen leadership capabilities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of dynamic HR experience
- Solid knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.
- Demonstrated success in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and employee development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to establish effective relationships with senior leaders and influence decision-making processes.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic approach.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
