The Data Management Associate is responsible for the receipt, storage, and input of registry data into study-specific electronic data capture (EDC) systems according to CorEvita's standard operating procedures. This individual also supports the implementation of clinical data management processes with ensuring completeness, correctness, and consistency of registry data according to CorEvita's database quality control (QC) and data quality review program. This role reports to the Associate Director of Clinical Data Management and collaborates with the Quality and Regulatory Compliance (QRC), Clinical Data Management (CDM), and Registry Operations and Management departments. This role requires careful attention to detail and demands high accuracy.
A day in the Life:
Questionnaire Intake and Data Entry
- • Verifies completeness of transmitted forms; performs quality control (QC) checks and communicates discrepancies requiring resolution (as needed) to Registry Management
- • Enters new and updated registry questionnaire data into EDC systems according to standard operating procedures.
- • Files records in designated CDM study file using standard naming conventions.
- • As applicable supports project initiatives where additional data entry efforts are required.
Database Quality Control
- • At regularly scheduled intervals per standard registry data management procedures, closes defined sets of EDC queries where unknown or missing values have been previously approved for resolution.
- • Performs enrollment eligibility Additional duties may be assigned, either temporary or permanent based upon company needs
- Keys to Success:
Education
- Diplomas or equivalent required
Experience
- Previous clerical or CDM experience desired
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent time management skills
- Must possess strong communication and writing skills and be able to work independently and as a part of a team
- Strong proficiency in the entire Microsoft Office Suite.
