Job Description Summary

Stats Digital is seeking a Digital Sales Strategist to join our digital sales team. In this exciting role at the cutting edge of digital media, you will be developing new business as well as cross- and up-selling to existing customers.

Job Description

Responsible for driving digital sales in order to meet overall team goals and the organization's business objectives. The primary focus is on the aggressive development of new digital clients and growing existing businesses with medium to large accounts across the region and country. This role can be based in our San Diego or Los Angeles office. Employees can apply to work entirely from the office or use a hybrid or remote model, working partly or entirely from home.

  • Develop new business while identifying client-specific digital ad sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with the markets to expand digital solution opportunities with existing customers
  • Maximize revenue through a consultative sales approach, with the ability to represent solutions across the full portfolio of Stats Digital: programmatic display, audio, and video, CTV/OTT, SEO, SEM, paid social, targeted email, and native advertising
  • Identify customer needs through pre-call planning, utilization of marketing resources, competitive analysis, and customer feedback, in order to connect meaningful media solutions across Stats Digital's advertising portfolio
  • Maintain adherence to internal processes and reporting to ensure that all aspects of campaign management are executed correctly
  • Utilize extensive understanding of account base and related industries to help identify trends and patterns within specific verticals
  • Work collaboratively across the organization to build meaningful cross-platform new and existing client solutions
  • Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications. Required to attend internal training and skill development workshops
  • Utilize support roles and resources in order to maximize sales time
  • Deliver uncompromising customer support and attention to detail
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Below are the minimum education, experience, knowledge, and skills required to competently perform in this position.   • Minimum of 3+ years of digital sales experience required
  • Displays a high level of digital sales acumen
  • Ability to research digital advertising clients and target prospective new clients
  • Must attend networking conferences and events, approaching and fostering new contacts whenever the situation fits
  • Must have a proven track record of quota achievement
  • Working knowledge and experience using CRM and Google products to manage day-to-day activities
  • Ability to excel in a highly competitive environment and adaptability to a rapidly evolving media landscape
  • Effective relationship-building skills
  • Excellent analytical, written, oral communication, and presentation skills
  • Self-starter, possesses high energy, creativity, and analytical skills
  • Requires a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Travel may be necessary
Preferred Qualifications:
  • New business development experience and growing annual digital revenues above 1 million are a plus
  • Media industry knowledge is a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent related experience is a plus
  • Campaign fulfillment knowledge of DSP's paid search, and paid social is a plus.
The pay scale for this position is $75,000-$80,000. This role is incentive eligible. This is the pay scale range the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting. Compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position.
