Calling all creatives! Honest is looking for an experienced, versatile Copywriter to join our Marketing team. As a Copywriter for Honest, you’ll make an impact across the organization as you contribute content to a wide variety of projects for teams including UX, Design, Optimization, Marketing, and Legal. Whether you’re producing content for Honest.com, Honest apps, email marketing initiatives or retail signage and messaging, you’ll be transforming Honest’s brand pillars into consumer facing, user-friendly language that delights end users and consumers. You’ll need extensive experience as a digital copywriter and a deep understanding of e-commerce best practices to flourish in this role.

What you’ll do:

  • Write concise, conversion-oriented copy for various touch points of the Honest ecosystem that is inspiring, consistent, creative, and in keeping with the voice of the Honest brand
  • Provide copy to fulfill a variety of needs, including but not limited to: UI copy, CTA copy, promotion of new products and features, product detail page language, customer support copy, free trial language
  • Provide strategic editorial leadership to develop content solutions that support business goals and conversion needs
  • Ensure that copy meets legal and regulatory standards as determined by internal teams

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree (English, journalism, or other relevant area of study preferred)
  • 3-5 years of copywriting experience
  • Online lifestyle and e-commerce copywriting experience
  • Superior writing and proofreading skills with an excellent command of grammar
  • Familiarity with basic industry style guide standards
  • Ability to organize, interpret, and clearly present scientific information to a general audience
