The Position:
The Seasonal Talent & People Operations Manager at The Headfirst Companies is a full-time, year-round position overseeing full-cycle recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and staff development for our seasonal team members across the Headfirst Summer Camps and Headfirst Professional Sports Camps divisions. The Seasonal Talent & People Operations Manager is entrusted with an ongoing quest to discover exceptional seasonal talent, build a strong employment brand, and cultivate a deep comprehension of our seasonal workforce in order to identify, retain, and advance top talent. Our Manager of Seasonal Talent & People Operations also helps shape and grow the talent engine driving our programs forward through the development and implementation of efficient, scalable, and strategic people operations processes which leverage technology and other smart solutions to continually reduce time-consuming and uneconomical administrative pinch-points and bottlenecks. Finally, the Seasonal Talent & People Operations Manager guides, motivates, utilizes, and works alongside their team of Seasonal Talent associates, fellows, and hiring managers to create programs and events which bring out the personal best in every child, teen, and young adult in the Headfirst community.
What You'll Do:
Lead. Lead a collaborative, creative, and driven Seasonal Talent team who recruit and retain top seasonal talent.
Manage. Manage an integrated and scalable candidate and new hire experience from job search, application, interview, and offer extension all the way through to onboarding and training.
Dive in. Set the example by diving in to the seasonal hiring process with your team during the Winter/Spring hiring season, using your own sharp eye for talent and experience with seasonal or high-volume recruiting to find and recruit amazing seasonal candidates.
Collaborate. Collaborate regularly and effectively with cross-functional teams, working together to establish and execute on short- and long-term business plans and company objectives.
Promote. Recognize, and respond to, the changing demands of the talent acquisition landscape by continuously finding new ways to promote the Headfirst employment brand and employee value proposition.
Cultivate. Help cultivate thoughtful and robust seasonal staff development, recognition, and engagement initiatives which actively shape and build a safe, welcoming, and fun on-site camp community and culture.
Implement. Implement the seasonal talent budget for the Headfirst Summer Camps and Headfirst Professional Sports Camps divisions, staying at or under budget while still recruiting and retaining top-quality seasonal team members.

You may be asked to help solve problems, lend a hand with inter-departmental administrative projects, and take on other responsibilities as requested by the management team of The Headfirst Companies.
About You:
You have a Bachelor's degree, preferably in human resources management, business administration, organizational studies, or a related field. Additional education and/or certifications viewed favorably.
You have 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in talent acquisition, people operations, and/or human resource management . Experience with high volume or seasonal recruiting and hiring viewed favorably.
You have at least 1 year of management experience with full-time direct reports.
You have excellent professional writing skills.
You have strong oral communication and presentation skills.
