The primary responsibility of CRO Performance Execution Lead is to eliminate undesired performance variation and deliver improvement in all key performance measures across the Central Recovery Operation, in all lines of business (Auto, Group Benefits, Workers Compensation, and Property). The Performance Execution Lead will achieve this through maturing the use of consistent and high-quality execution of practices, standards, and processes.

- Monitor Line of Business goals and objectives for performance and calibration results.
- Assist in root cause problem solving and development of solutions to drive execution.
- Partner with CRO leaders and their staff to improve results and further develop continuous improvement mindsets.
- Develop plans, once prioritized, to reduce performance variation, improve results and calibration (all key measures both leading and lagging)
- Measure, analyze and control a Continuous Improvement Plan for your assigned opportunities.
- Partner with Performance Analytics groups to conduct data analysis, results trending and root cause analysis and assist in identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Manage the Recovery Overage workflow and remaining TPA overages to ensure issues are assigned and resolved timely.
- Identify opportunities to reduce financial overages and partner with Optimization to implement solutions.
Quality Program Execution
- Data Analysis and Trending (Monthly for EQR)
- File Selection and Assignment
- Corrective Action Planning (EQR)
- Team Leader Resource for EQR (Secondary to Managers & Directors)
- Training for New to Role Team Leaders (Secondary to Managers & Directors)
- Collaborate w/ CQS and Performance Analytics on Re-Performance review planning and execution.
Other Accountabilities as directed by Operations AVP
- Jurisdictional SME
- Line of Business SME, as needed on prioritized Strategy and Optimization design and delivery initiatives
- Reporting and / or presentation of results as needed to support monthly Level 1 line of business results meetings for Auto, Property, Workers Compensation, and Group Benefits.
- Collaboration with leaders to continuously improve monthly results reporting, including Enabling Solutions Railroad materials for SVP, Auto Actuarial Monthly Business Reviews (MBR), Chris Swift slides, etc.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated analytical data skills
- Prior leadership experience is a plus
- Solid understanding of P&C and / or Group Benefits claim handling, including key control processes, strongly preferred
- Consistent, proven high level of performance and achievement
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- College Degree or equivalent experience

Compensation
The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:
$76,640 - $114,960
