Recess Coach (Student Relations & Teacher Support)

The Equity Project (TEP) Charter School is seeking a Recess Coach to support and inspire our talented middle school students, in and out of the classroom, during non-instructional periods.    

Position overview: Recess Coaches help supervise 35-minute lunch and recess periods for students (5th to 8th grade). Recess Coaches, who work in pairs, are present Monday - Friday, 10:15 AM - 1:15 PM, and must be able to commit through June 2019 (the end of the school year).

Qualifications: Applicants with significant experience working with middle school students and records of excellent school attendance are strongly preferred.

Compensation: $15/hour. Most weeks will involve 15.5 hours of work, with the potential of additional hours during the week, if and when available.
