As a General Laborer you will be tasked to ensure overall quality, food safety/security, weight and labeling of product containers while filling customers' orders safely and efficiently.
Job Related Task and Key Responsibilities
- Perform Forklift duties and Inspection procedures
- Assists janitorial personnel in housekeeping duties and groundskeeping.
- Clean and sanitizing fountain equipment as required.
- Assess products to check for damaged goods; Identify/move leakers
- Load product in trailers (when applicable)
- Keep accurate department records
- Work with label printers to create appropriate tags to label pallets and packages
- Operate barcode system (SAP), shrink wrap machine and compactors.
- Comply with all Integrated Management System policies and procedures
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices & Safety Instructions
- Work independently with little supervision and maintains high work standards
- Perform all other duties, as assigned, to ensure the effectiveness, efficiency, and quality of products, processes, and work environment
Additional Functions
- Process inventory finished products
- Perform Data entry
- Materials Receiving
- Shirk wrap and corrugate compactor operations.
Job Requirements
- High School General Education
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and procedures.
- Visual ability to monitor, identify and detect container, and equipment problems.
- Ability to record information.
- Ability to move at least 65 lbs a distance of 5ft.
- Manual dexterity to manipulate small objects.
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive motions for extended periods (8 hours).
- Forklift Certification Desired
Job Location and Work Conditions
Work is performed mostly on warehouse floor. Majority of tasks are of repetitive nature, working around moving equipment, wetness, hazardous chemicals etc. Work is performed on fixed shifts. Facility subject to extreme heat and cold. Multi-shift operation. Overtime including weekends and Holidays might be required.
