Social Media Manager

The Brand Guild is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have an innate sense of creativity and curiosity, with a passion for high-quality content, user engagement, community development and results-driven strategy. He/She can conceive and execute creative social strategies while measuring their impact and effectiveness. This is a client-facing role that will report to the VP of Creative and will work alongside the Social Media team.

Roles & Responsibilities:
-Work directly with client teams planning and conceiving social content
-Work with copywriters and designers to execute content, editing and proofing thoroughly before posting to maintain high quality standards
-Create and maintain content calendars for clients, encompassing major themes, day-to-day content, industry events and other trending topics
-Create social initiatives that meet brand objectives along with increasing web traffic, boosting sales, producing ROI and/or demonstrating measurable consumer awareness
-Run, maintain and provide recommendations on the latest and greatest social listening platforms and be able to analyze, measure and report on engagement with social programs, tracking weekly and monthly performance to make recommendations based on results

Qualifications:
-Minimum of 4 years of communications experience along with an agency background in integrated marketing, public relations, advertising or digital communications. Proven work experience as a social media strategist or social media manager a plus
-Experience working with consumer brands, hospitality and real estate industries a plus
-Bachelor's degree, preferably in English, Journalism, Advertising, Communications or Marketing
-Excellent written communication skills, as well as organizational and interpersonal skills
-Strong understanding of social media ecosystem and how insights, paid, earned and owned social media inform, involve and amplify one another
-Highly organized and adept at managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously at a high standard in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
-Demonstrated knowledge of social media trends, sharing new tactics and ideas with clients and internal teams
