The Boeing Global Services Maintenance Engineering organization is seeking an Experienced Technical Publications Project Management Specialist to join the Cruise Missile Systems and Direct Attack weapons programs Technical Publications team. Primary responsibilities include developing proposal estimates and supporting negotiations, planning and scheduling technical publications work scope, assessing engineering design changes for impact, developing presentations and program management briefings and coordinating with Logistics, Engineering and Contracts representatives. This position will be based in Saint Charles, MO.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Monitors technical data development at the program level to ensure data is developed and delivered on schedule and in accordance with contract requirements
  • Analyzes, updates and documents process to ensure technical manual data/procedures are documented and current.
  • Coordinates schedules and develops reports.
  • Evaluates configuration changes for impact to publication data; incorporates changes into schedule.
  • Prepares and negotiates agreements.
  • Prepares pricing quote and resolves issues related to pricing or scheduling requirements.
  • Supports presentations and program management briefings.
  • Makes recommendations for new business and supports implementation of new projects.

Security Clearance

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 10+ years of experience working in a professional environment
  • 3+ years of experience in project management for both small and large projects
  • 3+ years of experience with schedule and process management, integration of all logistics elements, customer communication, as well as understanding of execution of program planning to ensure cost, schedule and technical baseline requirements are met
  • 3+ years of experience developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelors Degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
  • Experience implementing lean changes to Configuration Management (CM) Processes or leading a lean team
  • Experience preparing and presenting technical briefings to senior executives in individual or group settings.

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility

Hybrid/Telecommute:

This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. (St. Louis, MO.) This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Summary pay range: 107,950 - 146,050
