Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently seeking an Experienced Support Planning & Management Specialist to become part of the BGS team. This role is based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options (Oklahoma City, OK)

Position Responsibilities:
  • Support the Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS) program for the VC-25A fleet. Review in-service data and application of descriptive/predictive analytics to help make recommendations to mitigate obsolescence impacts to an aging aircraft fleets.
  • Analyze emerging customer requirements and coordinates the development of solutions to ensure product safety, integrity and supportability
  • Provide technical support for maintenance, repair and preventive measures that ensure continued safe and economic operations for customers
  • Develops support program plans and schedules, validates standard deliverables and supports trade studies for platform subsystems.
  • Develops, coordinates and implements program and supplier statements of work
  • Executes elements of support program activities to include support system analysis, spares, provisioning, technical data, training maintenance/modifications, support equipment and facilities.
  • Project Manage sub-team deliverables and provide oversight and status
  • Monitors Supplier requirements and delivery schedules
  • Assists in managing team risks, status and actions
  • Assists in managing team business processes and quality
  • Develops Team action plans
  • Integrate change proposals for team as applicable to Integrated Support
  • Develop and assemble estimates (Proposals, Estimate At Completions, etc.)
  • Researches, documents and provides technical information and supports the establishment of processes to develop and maintain support products, engineering data and integrated support infrastructure

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
  • 3+ years of experience working with and/or interpreting engineering data or engineering drawings
  • Experience developing and managing strong relationships with partners (internal & external) and government customers and representatives
  • Technical writing experience
  • Data Analysis experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams
  • Aerospace experience
  • Aircraft Maintenance experience

Typical Education/ Experience:

Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range: $82,450 - $111,550
