Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Ship Side Operations Specialist (Mid-Level and Senior) to support our team in USA - Renton, WA.

This position is a temporary assignment located in Moses Lake, Washington. Candidates will be provided a DTA (Domestic Temporary Assignment) benefits package as applicable. This position is for 2nd shift, however can be variable shift based on business needs.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Provides expertise to the work cell team on the appropriate path and resources required to efficiently and effectively resolve production issues
  • Uses advanced technical knowledge, understanding of process flow, and networking skills to ensure issues are addressed and resolved by responsible support organization
  • Utilizes tracking system to document, communicate, and ensure resolve of production issues
  • Conducts assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria
  • Analyzes and interprets data and provide root cause corrective action and trend data to identify and eliminate high impact and systemic issues
  • Coordinates and facilitates multi-function group meetings required to resolve issues
  • Provides coaching and instruction to other teammates

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Moses Lake, WA and Renton, WA.

The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
  • Ability to work any shift
  • 5+ years of experience in the aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing industry
  • 3+ years of experience using LEAN Manufacturing and/or Continuous Improvement practices and tools in the workplace

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
  • 1+ years of experience with the Boeing Production System

Typical Education/Experience:

Mid Level (Level 3):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Senior (Level 4):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position offers transportation benefits and a DTA (Domestic Temporary Assignment Benefit) based on candidate eligibility. The DTA is expected to last up to 18 months and position to be relocated back to Renton, WA.

Summary Pay Range for Mid-Level (Level 3): $77,350 - $104,650

Summary Pay Range for Senior (Level 4): $92,650 - $125,350
