Boeing is looking for a Senior Boeing Research and Technology Engineer based out of San Antonio, Texas.
Position Responsibilities:
- Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to lead activities to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 10+ years of aerospace or manufacturing experience
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Leadership
- 5+ years of experience with Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul execution
- 3+ years of experience with technology implementation
- 5+ years of experience with 3D modeling software
- Experience in laboratory operations
- Experience working with cross functional teams
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Active Secret, Top Secret, and/or Yankee White clearance
- Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action
- Experience with lean practices
- Experience with design and fabrication of rapid items (3D Printing)
- Experience in coatings, corrosion, sealants
- Experience in electrical wiring, components, parts
- Experience as a team lead
Typical Education/Experience:Bachelor's degree typically 14 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 12 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with typically 9 or more years' experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
