Boeing Defense, Space and Security is seeking an Associate Equipment & Tooling Design Engineer in Berkley MO.

Position Responsibilities
- Supports the evaluation of program and project requirements, develops moderately complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System
- Compiles and analyzes technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates for equipment and tooling
- Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements
- Validates contractual performance milestones, maintains configuration control, conducts reviews, prepares plans for productions readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares
- Conducts training for Production and Maintenance personnel
- Develops and implements moderately complex work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation
- Supports studies for disposition of assets
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)
- Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
- 1+ years' experience in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Tool Engineering
- 1+ years' experience with NX and/or CATIA 3D systems
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)
- Strong execution, communication and collaboration skills
- The ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship
- Experience designing and fabricating assembly and test fixture solutions
- Experience developing conceptual designs for tooling fixtures
Typical Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
