The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Mid-Level Safety Specialist to join the team out of NAS Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, LA.
Position Responsibilities:
- Prepares compliance and technical reports to meet Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) regulatory requirements
- Acts as primary site focal with regulatory agencies

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post Start is required.
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- Bachelors degree or higher
- 3+ years of experience in direct experience as the primary contact with regulatory agencies related to incident investigation and regulatory interpretations
- 3+ years of experience in auditing and problem resolution
- 3+ years of experience in fall protection, confined space, hazardous energy, crane safety and incident investigations
- 1+ years of experience functioning in a cross-functional environment
- Travel 25% of the time
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Certified Industrial Hygienist
- Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals
- Experience in Aviation and/or Aircraft
- Military experience
- Experience writing Job Safety Analysis/Job Hazard Analysis (JSA/JHAs)
- Experience with Federal OSHA, Air Force Occupational Safety and Health (AFOSH) and Naval Air (NAVAIR) requirements
- Experience leading a team or projects
Typical Education & Experience:
Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Summary pay range: $82,450 - $111,550
