The Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is looking for a Mid-Level and Senior Training Systems Test Analyst (Level 3 and Level 4) to join their team in Richardson, TX. This position will be part of the P-8A AAS Training Systems Integration and Test team, which provides software integration, testing, checkout, and maintenance support for the P-8A AAS Training Systems development and sustainment contracts.

The P-8 AAS Training devices include a device that simulates the mission systems of the aircraft, electronic classroom used for desktop instruction, mission planning station used for preflight planning, scenario generation station used to generate scenarios for roleplay in the mission systems trainer. The role of this position is to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) of these training devices from an operator perspective.
These positions will primarily operate in a lab environment. The candidate will support both local development as well as remote installations.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires an Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements are mandatory for this position.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 3+ Years of experience in mission systems integration
- 3+ Years of technical experience in surveillance and weapons systems including; radar, ESM, acoustics, Data Links, and Harpoon
- Willing and able to travel up to 25% of the time domestically (intermittent for remote installations)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
- Active Top-Secret Clearance
Typical Education/Experience:
Mid-Level (Level 3)
Technical bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' or a PhD degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four-year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
Senior (Level 4)
Technical bachelor's degree and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree with typically 7 or more years' or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Relocation:
Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
