The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Engineering Multi-Skill Manager (K-Level) to join the F-22 Program Data Integration team located in Berkeley, MO. This role will report to the F-22 Chief Engineer and will be responsible for overall customer satisfaction, quality, cost and schedule performance for the program's Reliability and Maintainability, Diagnostic Health Management, Configuration Management, Systems Integrity and Data Management.

The F-22 Raptor program is well positioned to provide long-term growth opportunities and is committed to an employee focused culture at the Berkeley site supporting the premier 5th generation United States Air Force fighter program. This position will place you at heart of a fast-paced, growing program where you will have the opportunity to shape the program. The position also affords the candidate opportunities to interact with multiple engineering functions, program management, the United States Air Force customer, our partner Lockheed Martin and coordinate with teams across the organization.

Job Description Summary:
  • Responsible for defining the team's priorities, strategies, and execution
  • Responsible for the overall execution of team's engineering and technical activities
  • Responsible for top-level technical, cost and schedule management of the team's tasks and milestones
  • Provides experienced technical leadership and strategic direction
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Provides accountability and authority over the program's Reliability and Maintainability, Diagnostic Health Management, Configuration Management, and Data Management
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees to accomplish all contractual tasks
  • Manages systems, software, and configuration/data management engineers performing engineering and technical activities
  • Manages statements of work, oversees project execution, identifies performance metrics, and coordinates resources required
  • Drives initiatives to implement new engineering principles and oversees process improvements and streamlining

Security Clearance:
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
  • 3+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role (either as a lead or a manager)
  • 5+ years of experience working in a professional environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering field

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills / Experience):
  • Experience working on military aircraft
  • Experience leading employees/teams involved in multiple engineering disciplines
  • Experience in Program Management including cost, schedule and technical management
  • Experience as a CAM (cost account manager) in EVM (earned value management)
  • Experience across all phases of support equipment development lifecycle including design, development, production, acquisition, and sustainment
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas: Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Diagnostics and Health Management, Reliability and Maintainability, Configuration Management, or Data Management

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard

This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility

Hybrid/Telecommute:

This Hybrid position allows some telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. (St. Louis, MO)

Summary pay range: 129,200 - 174,800
