Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Experienced Tool Coordinator to support Fabrication based in Auburn, Washington location.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs in-depth analyses of complex problems related to the acquisition, receipt, and distribution of manufacturing tool services products.

  • Plans, assigns, and prioritizes activities for the work group. Supports the development and implementation of Tool Services training programs.
  • Ensures compliance to business processes and procedures performed by lower level employees.
  • Researches new technologies to provide state of the art cost-effective products and initiate improvements to business strategies.
  • Evaluates alternatives and recommended solutions that satisfy manufacturing requirements and emergent needs.
  • Resolves procurement discrepancies within the supply chain and promotes procurement process improvements.
  • Assists in coordinating the resolution of potential procurement impacts to the budget and manufacturing schedules.
  • Participates in development and management of overhead and capital budgets for the acquisition and inventory of tool services products.
  • Assists in the utilization and development of inventory management systems and tools.

  • This position is expected to be 40% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Auburn, Washington location.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
    • 3+ years of experience with function specific specialized tools
    • 3+ years of experience Ariba and Cribmaster
    • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
    • 3+ years of experience implementing continuous improvement
    • 3+ years of experience and knowledge of responsibilities and tasks performed by various Operations departments/disciplines
    • Prior Cribmaster administration experience preferred
    • Strong communication skills
    • Proficient with acquiring and analyzing data

    Typical Education & Experience:

    Typically, 10 or more years' related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

    Relocation:

    Summary pay range: $62,900 - $85,100
