Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Specialist to support the BCA Fabrication Teams based out of West Jordan, Utah, or Salt Lake City, Utah.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Performs maintenance on factory equipment
  • Troubleshoots, analyzes, inspects, disassembles, rebuilds, modifies and tests factory machinery and equipment as necessary using knowledge in areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Assists with interpreting blueprints and schematics to maintain and repair equipment
  • Responds to requests for equipment repair
  • Identifies and requests component and replacement part inventories
  • Prioritizes and schedules daily work assignments based on production and customer needs and management priority to maintain production equipment utilization

  • This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
    • Must be willing and able to work any shift assigned
    • 1+ years of experience reading electrical schematic diagrams
    • 1+ years of experience with electrical and/or mechanical drawings/schematics
    • 1+ years of experience interpreting commercial technical data including drawings, maintenance and operations manuals

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
    • 1+ years of experience operating Electrical, Mechanical, and/or Hydraulic Systems
    • 1+ years of experience in programming, integrating or troubleshooting industrial robots from OEMs such as ABB or FANUC, or PLCs, NCs, HMIs, or Drives such as Siemens, FANUC or Allen Bradley

    Typical Education/Experience:

    Associate (Level B/Associate)
    High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    Experienced (Level C/Experienced)
    High school diploma or GED and typically 4 or more years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    Relocation:

    This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility.

    Summary pay range: $45,900 -- $72,450
