Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) is seeking an Equipment Maintenance Manager - Metrology and Test Equipment Services (MATES) based out of Tukwila, Washington to lead a team of technicians and mechanics who support predictive and preventative maintenance activities of complex equipment used to manufacture and test articles in R&D environments within BT&E and BR&T (Boeing Research & Technology) at multiple sites across the Northwest region.

Metrology And Test Equipment Services (MATES) provides a full spectrum of test asset, metrology services, and equipment support for internal customers and products through all phases of the product lifecycle.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Leads employees performing activities in multiple manufacturing subject areas
  • Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies
  • Acquires resources, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
  • Develops and manages relationships and partnerships with customers, peers, partners and employees
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Experience in leadership, either formally or informally leading teams in a cross-functional environment
  • 1+ year of experience Lean process implementation
  • 1+ year of experience developing and executing employee engagement strategies
  • 1+ year of experience using Maximo or other Computerized Maintenance Software Systems
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Experience with collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & using professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in maintenance and facilities
  • Experience working in a test and/or manufacturing environment

Summary pay range: 115,600 - 156,400
